Ah The Married Life!

Joe and I got married in Las Vegas Nevada March 27, 2011. Life hasn't really changed because of it. Joe and I still argue as a healthy married couple should do on occasion. :P  I love him unconditionally. We chose Las Vegas to get married because neither of us is the type that wants to stress over fancy and expensive arrangements. We just wanted a quiet wedding with our close family and friends.












Now even though I did not want to stress and manage a wedding my mom decided that we needed a reception so everybody could get together and celebrate. She planned the whole thing. Sadly I did not help with anything. She was so stressed the day of the reception and I felt terrible for not helping. She was worried about was whether it was perfect for me. I would like to take the time right now to say that everything was perfect, exactly the way I wanted it. She is the best mother anyone could ever have and I am extremely grateful!!

The only thing that has changed since our marriage is that Joe joined the Army. He is currently in basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He has been gone since September 12th and I miss him so much every day.  It's been hard doing my every day routines without him here. We both help each other and we keep each other motivated. He is the Yin to my Yang.





I got to visit him for Thanksgiving in South Carolina. It was the best two days of my life.:D He has lost so much weight and I am extremely proud of him!

Just to let anyone know in case there is some confusion out there. Joe and I did get married but we are not trying to have kids at this point in our life.  We are not ready. We both want stable careers before we even consider it. :)
